Laura Ingraham seems to like him quite a bit and you gotta admire what he's doing despite the overwhelming number of left wing socialists he deals with on a daily basis.
Romney ran as pro-choice when he ran for governor of Massachusetts, although as a Mormon, he had been believed to be pro-life. He is currently taking a lot of flack for objecting to a cloning scheme they have cooked up in Massachusetts, so he does have credibly pro-life credentials.
I believe if he ran as a pro-lifer, the pro-life people would accept him; the main harm of his present stance is that they would be calling him a hypocrit. Ronald Reagan in a similar position had run as pro-choice.
