Who gives a crap what the rest of the world thinks?

The appearance of weakness or vulnerability invites attacks and privation.

I know that Condi is the darling of the neocons and the CFR crowd, and I fully acknowledge all she has accomplished. I have even encouraged my little niece to follow her example.

But I fully believe that the election of a woman to the highest office in the US will be seen by our enemies as nothing more than a big "Kick Me" sign. One which they will most happily oblige.

Do you honestly believe our enemies think Condi is weak? As for your niece, are you going to tell her she can be anything she wants, except President, because that would make our country appear weak to our enemies?

The same thing was said about GWB in 2000. Our enemies are going to hate us no matter what we do- or who we elect. I'd rather have a strong, confident and intelligent woman leading our country than a limp-wristed, indecisive, pansy-ass liberal guy anyday.

Do the names Margaret Thatcher or Golda Meir ring a bell?
