Okay, I'm gearing up for Christmas. Is there anything you know of that I can start on now? (like maybe lights or decorations? Remember I'm a novice :) )

Great pictures!

I have a Nephew that is in the Marines, Has served one tour in Afghanistan, and one in Iraq.
He will be going back to Iraq in Dec. or Jan.
I was able to visit with Him on a leave visit in July.

He said that the most popular snack-food items over there were; Kippered Herring(often called kipper-snacks), they are in a can and last the trip well. Also slim-jims and beef jerky.
Any package sent to a solider over there should include a can or two of smokeless tobacco ( Skol ect.), even if they don't use the stuff, it survives the trip well and they can trade with a fellow solider for something they do want.

The very best thing that can be sent ; Our prayers and well wishes for a safe return when their work is completed.
