Here is an email I received from Psyops in Baghdad, along with the photos above:
Hi Rhonda and a Merry Christmas to you also.
Your gifts, treats and decorations made the day a special time for all of us and help to take our minds off of being here during the Holiday season. On Christmas Eve we had a meal together along with some of our friends out side the unit. My supply guys hosted the festivities. We ate Steak and Lobster, Ribs, Ham and Turkey Roast. My guys raided the mess hall with to-go plates and loaded up on toss green salad, fresh vegetables, pickles, olives and the like. We had already gotten into all the goodies earlier in the day so there was no need for Dessert.
After dinner, we had Santa (AKA PVT xxx ) deliver gifts to all the our soldiers. I am happy to report that none of my soldiers received coal in their stockings thanks to you.
Chaplain xxxx, is collecting more photos to send.
Thanks again,
CSM xxxx
