There are rumors that the Pakistan force know almost all locations of Taliban hideouts in Pakistan, but because of the pro-Taliban generals, they are not hunted down. If a civil war occurs between the liberal group and the pro-Taliban group, this will have a great impact on future strategy depending on which side will win. If the pro-Taliban generals lose the battle, in power struggles or civil war, it may accelerate the hunt down of Taliban in Pakistan. If the liberal group lose, Pakistan might be a terrorist sponsor country allowing more flexibility for the terrorists in Pakistan, which will continue to threat coalition operations in Afghanistan, just like Iran and Syria have done against Iraq.

Pakistan is already a terrorist sponsor. The good thing for it is it's rulers have never been overtly anti-American like the Saudis .To be called a "real terrorist sponsor" ,you need to be as stupid as Iran or Syria to constantly p*** off Uncle Sam.Folks based in Pakistan are a big headache for American operations in Afghanistan-afterall,ordinary Uzbeks & Tajiks called the Taliban as Pakistanis.
