I am beginning to thinkt that Bush only tossed that out there as a political move....
Because it strengthened the conservatives and republicans against taxes.....
And put a spotlight on dems to see if they would once again advocate tax hikes.
Think about it.....it happened at the same time that Rove was getting Republicans fired up.
I agree and that has been speculated on by different pundits on the blogs and cable......I just am not so quick to judge, just my nature, and I'll listen perhaps more than some here....in the final analysis though, I usually support the conservative cause........I don't rule out that Karl Rove is a crafty strategic thinker who doesn't fail often so we will see
