Hillary Clinton to visit Iraq AFP: 2/18/2005 BAGHDAD, Feb 18 (AFP) - US senator Hillary Clinton, wife of former president Bill Clinton, is expected in Baghdad on Saturday, a source at the US embassy said on Friday.
The source said the five-member delegation would hold talks with Iraqi government officials and members of the national assembly, whose makeup was confirmed Thursday by the electoral commission.
Heading the US delegation is John McCain, the Republican senator for Arizona and one-time rival of US President George W. Bush. McCain has been critical of the US administration's policies in Iraq since the March 2003 invasion.
The delegation also includes senators Russel Feingold, Susan Collins and Lindsey Graham.

Just what business does thunder thigh's have talking to foreign governments? Do these democrats think they are the representative government of the USA? I thought the elections made it clear just who talks for the USA the next 4 years.
Graham is totally on our side.....so what if he had an independent thought on one issue....he still sides with us on 98%......I wish our spouses had as good a track record
Collins, snowe and mccain are disgusting. Why don't they just, ah never mind.
Oh I am sure that the troops are thrilled and just shaking in anticipation of the aprroaching visit by Fiengold and Hillary.
I tell you one thing us Rangers will never forget. It took three weeks for Three Dollar Bill Clinton to show up at Walter Reed to visit the soldiers injured in Somalia. Even then he had to be dragged almost kicking and screaming. I was one of those Rangers. Some of the guys refused to see him. I saw him, watched him squirm and make his lower lip tremble.
He could not get out of Walter Reed fast enough.
On the other hand, President Bush often visits injured soldiers and has been known to check up some of the ones he has met with phone calls. I would have been honored to have had this man pin my Purple Heart to my pillow. Clinton, I bored a hole through with my eyes.
Lindsey Graham has always been a horse trading moderate.
What a way to insult our troops and Iraqis who who worked for freedom in Iraq.
I saw the names listed in the header.....
Not a real Republican in the bunch.
"Heading the US delegation is John McCain, the Republican senator for Arizona and one-time rival of US President George W. Bush. McCain has been critical of the US administration's policies in Iraq since the March 2003 invasion."
Why did the headline put Hillary as the important one?..Biased media?..Nah
when it comes to the war and troops.....McCain passes muster in that category regardless of how you feel about him here.....he is as pro military and Iraq war as you can get
"May the bird of paradise fly up your nose"
"May an elephant caress you with his toes"
"May your wife be plagued with runners in her hose"
"May the bird of paradise fly up your nose"
When it comes to the troops?
Only when the camera is on!
Before 9/11 happened.....he was out horse trading with the rest of the RINOs.
He has, in the past, voted against military pay increases and quality of living funding.
He has also attacked family members of POWs when their organizations point out that evidence shows that POW's from Vietnam have not been accounted for!

And then there was his attacks on the Swift Boat Veterans.
I was wondering how you could do that all by your lonesome...LOL
The Army has to take Broomstick 1 out of mothballs this weekend.
Ok, note to self, its bad to pray for a natural disaster... bad.. bad... bad....
My family was furious about how the Clinton goons treated the Rangers.
I am from a military family....so you can imagine how furious we were.
Denying needed tac air support because they were worried how it would look in a political manner!!!!
Clinton is a slimebag.
When does he go up for reelection? Did he run in 04? or 02?
well I know many here don't give him a break, but he also was big enough to support Bush on the war and even to campaign for him which believe it or not brought in many moderates.....at least I think he is being genuine as opposed to a Dem who does everything for political gain only.....I do agree thought that McCain is a media hog
Will Hitllary wear a burqa?
