It is very simple. The doctors should do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING until the kid grows up and figures out what he or she is or if they are happy just the way they are. Guessing with a knife and hormones and parents' selfish wishes leads to absolute disaster.
Although it would be great if that were possible, I can think of all kinds of social complications for the growing child--which restroom in school, etc.
Homeschooling would solve that...but I did see an extensive interview with an intersex person who chose to remain the same, and have no surgery. The person claimed to be completely asexual, in inclination.

That is very good advice. Let the child decide which gender they belong to, they are the only person that has the right to make that decision.
