sadly, i believe you will find very few Republicans (some call themselves conservative) who will see this as a bad thing. they believe in more LE, more "security" more fines, more rules and regs, etc. i see it every day at FR and in my state capitol too. well, in DC also. the Republican party has been hijacked by pro-big gvt high spenders who have no regard for the Constitution and BoR. that's the truth.

Statists, by definition, like government solutions for everything and care little for liberty. The major parties are both lousy with statists.

How is it Republican, or Democratic, or Socialist, or whatever to expect enforcement of traffic laws, whether by fine or imprisonment?
I think you just don't like traffic laws ~ may I recommend you go build a private road someplace where you can release these urges of yours.

Unfortunately we let it happen on our watch, and our children, grandchildren, and so on will suffer. It would take a lot to reverse the course this country is headed down.
