Exactly. Environment has its influences too, but male and female brains are gender wired before birth just as are our visible "parts."


Yes, the fact that they don't always match 100% of the time does give a small portion of gays or trans-genders a biological explanation for their predispositions, but only a very small portion.

There was a program about this on the Discovery Channel (or maybe some other channel) a few years ago. It was very sad. A doctor would decide which sex to make the child I suppose because of which was surgically easiest. They interviewed people who had been assigned the wrong sex but had to live with it. One was a male who had been made female because the very small penis had been removed, but was now living with a woman as if they were both lesbians. Heartbreaking!
