Um excuse me lady but most of the media outlets knew of the words "Shock and Awe" way before we started bombing. I remember when the first live feed came from the bombing on that day one of the newscasters said "This is Shock and Awe folks". We all were waiting for "Shock and Awe" for days. You have to do better than that!
And just who is this Editor and Publishing that's pushing this story lately?
Until a few weeks ago, I'd never even heard of them.
They have been around a long time. They have some sort of vendetta against Gannon.
They sure do have some vendetta against Gannon. I'm assuming this is a blog site because they sure don't come off like legitimate reporters.
Oh please
Sweetie .. most of the reporters from DC have some kind of inside scoop of things ...
Ever hear of a column called Washington Whispers??
No kidding? I didn't know that.
Of course they do... the Gannons of the world threaten to make them irrelevant.
What a b&tch!
That is right. you would think this is the biggest story since the discovery of the Atom. One poor in income writer is kicked out because he is not who he said. Was he stealing 300,000 from the DNC? Did he make phoney reports to the FEC about a 2 million dollar Klinton fund raiser? Did he pardon Marc Rich who is not quilty of another Oil scam in Iraq? NO this poor slob is quilty of being a Republican and like Andrew Sullivan, and a couple other famous but not out reporters - gay. / that is the end of my rant.
Just read on a Blog (which can't be posted on Free Republic) that Gannon will be on "Anderson Cooper 360" tonight on CNN. Anyone hear that?
Um, doesn't 60 Minutes put the producer's name on that card behind the reporter covering the story?
I don't watch 60 Minutes at all any more but I noted in a story on Rather's retirement when they flashed Rather anchoring the National Guard hit piece that Mary Mapes was clearly listed as the producer, and the clip was only on for a few seconds, probably yesterday is when I saw it watching the Brit Hume re-run at 11PM during the bottom of the hour newsbreak. Or maybe the day before.
And just what does she mean by:
"Now we all know how."
???????
Thats a stupid Radio Producer trying to act like her story is important.
This is just another example of "If you're not on the democratic plantation, and you have minority status of any type (ethnic, sexual orientation, whatever), we will crucify you."
I feel sorry for Mr. Gannon. Once long ago when they tried to pull a stunt on Jesse Jackson for not being sexually faithful, he basically said, "So what?"
I feel sorry for the life that Mr. Gannon was leading, one where he didn't feel he could come clean and say to the hounds of the MSM "So what?"
But it also tells me, I bet the only ones who really care are the MSM who are being focused on this (and their backers in DC) instead of something else, and the DU types.
It's not going to change the facts that blogging and forums are here to stay.
bttt
"the Gannons of the world threaten to make them irrelevant."
Please. The Gannons of the world are too busy surfing gay porn sites and using bogus credentials to act "Republican" to be much of a threat to anyone.
This flaming loser needs to STFU and exit stage left rather than continue to discredit the White House any further.
Lurks at FR like everyone else. Except this "San Antonio" reporter.
Guckert, she said, frequently passed on what he clearly thought was insider information, during his 12 appearances on KTSA during 2003 and 2004. She first heard from him the expression "shock and awe" to refer to the massive U.S. bombing attack at the start of the Iraq war, and he fingered Mary Mapes as the producer of the so-called "Rathergate" segment on "60 Minutes" before she had seen that mentioned elsewhere.
Yeah, tippy-top secret stuff that. What is the vendetta this E&P has that they sink to trotting out somebody in San Antonio?
"I feel sorry for Mr. Gannon. "
I don't. He's a lying, flaming, gay reporter wannabe who's making our President look foolish for trusting this homo in the first place.
So, are you suggesting that every reporter in the White House briefing room be subject to an examination of their personal lives, and that the President himself exclude anyone who is gay from those who get passes?
