No Lebanese faction want to ally themselves with Hizballah once the Syrians are gone from Lebanon. They all understand that Hizballah is a dangerous terrorist organization that will be eventually eliminated in the US war on terror.

This is defeatist thinking. Giving up is not an option. I suspect that this new Lebanese Insurgency will lead to the downfall of the Syrian Baathists -- and this time we won't be in the middle of it to prevent the blood vengeance.
