I'm firmly convinced that the country 'needs' another 9/11 in order to get serious. Both parties don't care about the borders or the illegal immigration crisis.
I know this is a terrible thing to say... but it's the only medicine that will suffice.

I've been thinking the same thing.
I sure as well don't want it to happen either.
But there's a growing complacency among some sectors of our govt regarding the threat to our borders.

Nonsense on both counts. The nation is already serious about the WOT, and the illegal immigration crisis is being dealt with already.
