The DeeCee FReepers are brave to get out in front of this, but I can understand the concern about us getting burnt in the process...MUD I understand. I just have a very hard time believing a lot of it since it's all very left moonbats that are fueling this. And their "finds" have been incremental. Nice work on your links in 135.

The only place I've heard that mentioned is at such wonderfully truthful and factual sources as Du, Daily Kos, and other Alice Through the Looking Glass places. Listen, if were accused publicly of being a gay prostitute with pictures on gay websites, and I were not a gay prostitute with pictures on gay websites, I would be denying it to every microphone I could get in front of, my attorney's advice be damned.
So far, on his past, Gannnon/Guckert has been blaringly silent.

IF this is true, then his lawyer's caution reeks of inexperience - OR his lawyer told him not to talk about it because it is TRUE. Prostitution, after all, is a crime.

His lawyer told him to shut his trap. As I said, if I were not a gay prostitute, I would ignore my lawyer and deny it, publicly.
One is left to conclude that Gannon/Guckert was exactly what the left-wing bloggers say he was.

Unless there's charges being brought against somebody, in which case he cannot say anything even in his own defense.

Unless there's charges being brought against someone, he wouldn't be able to discuss the issue then.

Or did people, including the MSM and left-wing bloggers, chase Gannon out? My guess is the latter. It's called the marketplace of ideas No, its not called the marketplace of ideas In a "marketplace", competition rules. In this, the MSM is trying to monopolize the "marketplace" by shutting out a certain set of ideas that they disagree with. No competition. No opposing points of views allowed.
--Gannon has had ample opportunity and resources to defend himself. He hasn't.
He did, then at the advice of his lawyer, he stopped.
I'm not defending a man who won't stand up for himself.
No one is putting a gun to your head.

He was defending himself and doing it very well. A few days after his CNN interview, pics that no one else could find (even though they searched, ask DU) suddenly appeared and his lawyer told him "no more interviews". What's next? Pics of the whole WH going into a gay bar with Gannon? Oh. Wait. They're doing that already.
RAWSTORY: McClellan seen in gay bars!
Bush Bi? Can anyone shed any light on this one?

What are you talking about? There is absolutely nothing that prevents him from saying "I am not a male prostitute" - even if charges are being brought against somebody. The ONLY downside to saying "I am not a male prostitute" is if he would be lying by saying it.
And if his lawyer (a) has any sense and (b) told him not to say it, this is why.

Not necessarily... not to say that I believe this is the case, but if you're going to turn around and sue the perpetrators of a fraud for libel, wouldn't you allow them enough rope to hang themselves? At least until you can track down who is responsible for the fraud, and establish proof? Publicly challenging the statements might hasten some track-covering.
Again, I'm not saying that I really believe that's what is going on. I'm just pointing out that there is more than one reasonable explanation.

Why should anyone bother? Don't you know those sites are fakes engineered by someone with ties to Hillary?
