Why do communists insist on using shoes for emphasis? (Remembering Kruschev's famous sole hammering experience)
I believe it is peculiarly Russian. When the Red Army smashed its way into Berlin(1944), they thought that toilets were 'potato-washers'.
Shoe-throwing is also popular on America's roads and highways. Strangely, there seems to be a 'one-throw' limit on this behavior, noting that you never see them in pairs.
