At present the victim is in a medically induced coma and on life support. She was strangled with a belt and is rumoured to have brain damage. She has a 19 (from memory) year old daughter and 11 yr old son. Since the husband was under a restraining order he is not even allowed into the hospital. There has been nothing in the courts so far to indicate if she has any other next of kin. I would find it HIGHLY unlikely that the Australian courts would approve any form of euthanasia. It is still illegal, at least in this state.

It's illegal in Florida too, but have you heard what they're doing to Terri Schiavo?
