I'm not going to go that far...he has the right to speak his peace...our Constitution allows it.
He has not been convicted of a crime.
He can not forfeit his life without due process.
This is a nation of laws.
Should he be removed from a position of influence....sure.
Should he be censured...absolutely.
If I were a parent of any of his students would I be screaming at the administration...At the top of my lungs.

A case of levying "war" against the US probably can't be proved. Equally difficult, IMO, would be proving his comments, written or spoken, provided aid or comfort to our enemies.
Not surprising. Reed's unofficial motto (at least in the 70's) was "Communism, Atheism, Free Love". Chock full o' upper-middle-class white kids with near-perfect NMSQTs and little to no real-world knowledge or experience.

Be very specific in your posts. Contradiction doesn't encourage others to believe your posted beliefs. Sarcasm, no matter what context, should be labled as such. Back-peddling should be erased from your habits.
In a number of threads you've expressed your desire to learn, yet you seemingly come across as defensive, arrogant and non-teachable. Not *all* threads...but some.
In some thread subjects you come across as quite learned. This further complicates the issue of believability when it is not coupled with consistency.
