In 4 years, we'll come off of 8 years of the GOP in charge of the Presidency, control of both houses, etc... All Bayh has to do is portray himself as a moderate, he's an attractive candidate, can talk about a need for change, will have the media firmly in his camp...

The way I see it, it's almost his for the taking...We just barely beat Kerry with an incumbent President in a time of war... There's no way we will pull out another victory next time, unless... Hillary gets nominated.

Bayh will squash Rudy or McCain, run to the right of Romney (paint him as another Mass. liberal), Owen and Allen will still be relative unknowns... Jeb won't even try for it...
