Yes. While I don't agree with her take on things I get the sense that for the Dems. Boxer will represent the same thing as the Clintons only without the grotesque narcissicism and criminal baggage.

While I see your point about the criminal baggage, I can't think of anybody in the senate to whom the term 'grotesque narcissicism' applies more accurately than to Boxer. To me she makes Hillary look positively demure. But Boxer for president is interesting though. She'll appeal to the dem base in the primaries in a very Howard Dean sort of way. The DU type people will swoon. Her chances in the general election are less optimistic though. Her main problems; 1. She's a twit. Not even the MSM will be able to pass her off as an intelligent human being. 2. She's to the left of Ted Kennedy. 3. She's a loon.

I hope she makes a run at it though. It will be enourmously entertaining.

Boxer's a 4'8" troll, she'll look like a scruffy little kid next to any other candidate. She's be laughed off the stage.
