What I meant to say was that 40% or so of Americans believe a bullet leaving a curved barrel will continue in a trajectory which follows the curvature of the barrel. For example, if the barrel is bent towards the left or right, many people believe the bullet's trajectory will continue to bend to the left or right, respectively.
