Actually, teaching any religion in school is not unconstitutional. Only teaching the single government religion is unconstitutional.

However, teaching an untruth like the Earth is only 6000 years old or there is an "intelligent designer" who we want to call God but can't created each separate organism is unChristian.

Evolution is a fact. Of course you really know that, already.

Statism is a fact. Why don't you provide us the Constitutional cites giving the federal government power in public school districts? And I don't want to hear any crap about this morons decision that any opposition to evolution equals an establishment of religion.

Half right. Government can "neither advance nor inhibit religion", and it must not foster "an excessive government entanglement with religion." (see Lemon v. Kurtzman)

Parochial schools can teach what ever religion they wish; government schools cannot.
