Judge Bans Evolution Theory Sticker! URGENT PETITION: Tell the Court That Our Kids Deserve The Truth About Evolution!
|
The Petition:
|
As a concerned citizen, I oppose the actions of the federal judge in Georgia who banned the evolution is a theory sticker. I encourage the Cobb County, Georgia, citizens to resist this outrageous ruling and insist that "Our Kids Deserve The Truth" on this issue.
I am also calling on our leaders to ensure that evolution is taught as a theory and not as fact in our schools. The only way to accomplish this goal is to teach origins objectively, including criticisms of evolution. Every taxpayer-funded school in America should teach origins objectively. I support:

"
. . . open mind, studied carefully, and critically considered." Well, that was the Board's first mistake: challenging liberal hegemony with an appeal to dispassionate scrutiny.

I don't see how anyone with any real appreciation of science can think that sticker endorses religion. I see it as endorsing thinking. Certain people though are rather scared schools kids might not receive the full indoctrination from the state if they start doing that thinking stuff.

I would shudder having to send a child through public education in this age of lies, deception, history being rewritten as we watch, and the homosexual agenda a major undercurrent.
How can God bless a culture such as this?

Georgia is a bastion of Christianity. One wonders why Christianity there is under such a fierce attack by the oligarchy?
Shades of Judge Williams and the Ten Commandments . .

How about a sticker proclaiming "the theory of gravity" as well? How about "the heliocentric solar system"? We could go on and on.
This sticker stuff is just silly.

BTW, reading that Cobb County sticker actually made me laugh. Evolution does not even address origins. That is a different theory. They at least ought to get the sticker right.

I see it as endorsing thinking. If thinking anti-science thoughts is so important, why not stickers requiring the teaching of hinduism or Islam.
Come to think of it, they do require teaching the Muslim view of evolution.

Science proves God's Word to be true... Science doesn't attempt to "prove" anything.

The scientific case against Craterism
1. Meteor craters have not been observed to happen, now or in the past.
2. Meteor craters have never been reproduced in the lab, and are thus not scientific.
3. Thomas Jefferson said: "Gentlemen, I would rather believe that two Yankee professors would lie than believe that stones fall from heaven."
4. The odds against a random rock falling from the sky, striking the earth, and making a crater are astronomical.
5. The second law of thermodynamics prohibits meteor craters.
6. Meteor craters are not mentioned in the bible, nor are "rocks from the sky."
7. Craterism is a product of materialism and a Godless, naturalistic worldview.
8. Belief that rocks can fall from the sky promotes hedonism and amoral, animalistic behavior.
9. Craterism makes no predictions and is untestable; it is therefore not scientific.
10. Craterists can produce micro-craters, but have no evidence of macro-cratering.
11. Aristotle didn't believe in Craterism. Nor did Galileo, Newton, or Einstein.
12. Einstein even said: "God does not play dice!" Are you smarter than Einstein?
13. Scientists are abandoning craterism because they know it is not supported by evidence.
14. Anyone who thinks there are rocks in the sky has rocks in his head.
15. It takes more faith to believe in Craterism than it does to believe in the Tooth Fairy.
16. More and more scientists are turning to "Intelligent Crater" theory (IC). Craterism is a theory in crisis!
