I have no problem with the word crap or the Simpsons. I am just pointing out that you are willing to tell me what to watch, but upset when someone tells you what words are appropriate.

Wow - you really won't let this go, will you? You replied to the same exact post twice because once wasn't enough.

Let me straighten you out on something: I never told anybody what they could watch, nor did I get upset when you said I can't use the word crap. I think you're inventing an entire reality here. Read the thread again. It begins with someone (other than me) calling for a letter/email writing campaign against what she thinks is offensive subject matter on a TV show. Then we get a bunch of people flaming her, saying things along the lines of how ridiculous it is to object to the show. Then we have me defending her sentiments, but SPECIFICALLY NOT AGREEING with the choice of the Simpsons as a battleground, and somewhere in there, using the word "crap", which has subsequently sent you on a rocket ride into an alternate reality. Never, anywhere, did I demand that people stop watching the Simpsons, and my first reply to your "crap" objection was an obvious joke, indicating a severe lack of being upset.

Do not assign words and sentiments to people that they did not express just so you can bash them. If you are going to insist on doing that, do so in a manner which at least appears rational. Thank you.
