I had quite the "Welcome Home" experience from Desert Storm. Hundreds of folks packed in a hangar, with Lee Greenwood blaring over the speakers. In Massachusetts, of all places! It was quite heartwarming back then, and we didn't face nearly the hostility these poor uniformed folks have been facing from the media and the liberals (redundant, I know).
