Yes! This is exactly right. In a way, we are living with the government we deserve because we will not vote these folks out of office.

I helped elect Bush. I didn't count on his willing to sign America over to the UN though.

But ballots don't come with a box for "none of the above". Once it gets to election day, we can only vote for the most conservative guy on the ballot. Before election day, I'll grant you that we can work to educate others, and to try to encourage like minded people to run, but come election day, what are you going to do?
