Hillary Clinton was continuously rude and abrasive to those who were charged to protect her life. Her security detail dutifully did their job, as professionals should, but they all "loathed" her and wanted to be on a different detail. She was hard work because she was so nasty and mean toward her detail.

I heard the exact same thing from a member of the uniformed division of the Secret Service.

Add to this the incident involving one of his SS detail in Chile or Argentina. How he left a photo-op and reached through a knot of people to grab his SS agent and pull him out of a sticky situation. And he let it be known that he was to go with the president everywhere. What a guy. It was potentialy dangerous for Bush to do that, but that must be his personality on display. Don't mess with Texas or a Texan that just happens to be the leader of the free world.

I had a couple of friends who served on White House (Secret Service) duty and they concur with most of this. They were extremely adamant about "dropping a quarter and bending over to pick it up, rather than take a bullet for these people". I thought that spoke volumes for their hatred toward the Clintons, which was a mutual feeling from the Clintons toward the SS agents.
