Living in Atlanta I have heard him way back when - he always struck me as a lightweight.

His show is unlistenable because he is more interested in in producing heat instead of light. He is a horrible interivewer becasue he is unable to react to waht the interviewee says to sonstruct follow-up - instead he just forges ahead with his talking points that invariably get to the "yes or no" question or the momement when he can bring himslef into the issue (He says "I" almost as miuch as the Slickster). Add to that the constant self promotion and it is quite boring.

My suspician is that he resents the new media (blogs) becasue they pose a threat to him.

Instead of him I listen to Hugh Hewitt. Hugh is shameless in his pushing of Republican talking points but he is much brighter than Hannity has a great sense of humor and has much better guests.

Hewitt was the first radio guy to push "Christmas in Cambodia", "Rahtergate" and the Eason Jordan thing. He has become the first link between the new media and the MSM because when gets a hold of something he does not let go (Eason Jordan). All in all I think is show is the model for the future and I would look at him as a replacement for Rush in the future.

Sean can be good when he wants to be. Too bad he's too full of himself.

I'D rather go and listen to Alan Combs than HANNITY!
