Well, I share Jim Robinson's attitude: immigration is just not that big an issue for me. Plus, like the Terri Schiavo threads, if you get crossways with "the crowd," you get pilloried unmercifully.

They're a zoo. They don't appreciate dissenting opinions. They can't even engage in civil debate without piling on the people who disagree with them.
Sometimes "the crowd" is right, sometimes it's wrong. There is however a clear consensus regarding the "immigration" issue at FR.
As with all threads at FR, all we can do is stand and argue our perspective on principle, and hope whatever debate is fought on merit.
And who at FR hasn't been bloodied a bit time from time? I guess we're ALL a bit masochistic...
