That doesn't make him insane. What makes one insane is advocating for legalization of drugs.
So one who smokes pot but thinks it should stay illegal is okay, while a non-drug user who opposes the drug war (such as the owner of this forum) is insane. Do I have that right?
Dissidents were considered 'insane' during the Brezhnev-era Soviet Union, and routinely carted off to mental hospitals for 'treatment'. IIRC, the father of the Soviet H-bomb Andrei Sakharov was given such 'treatment' for daring to criticize the socialist order.
If anything, it's the act of doing the same thing over and over (communism *or* drug prohibition) and expecting different results ("from each according to his abilities to each according to his needs" *or* the ephemeral "Drug-Free America") that truly is insane - a trait that Drug Warriors like yourself who claim to be conservative and hard-core Communists have in common.
Abusing prescription drugs is a-o-k, though, right?
Were those who advocated an end to Prohibition of the drug alcohol also insane?
When viewing what the WOD has done to the Bill of Rights, one must either be pro-Constitution or pro-WOD. The government has absolutely refused to run a WOD that is anywhere near Constitutional. I am not a drug user, and I would not become one if they were legal. But the amount of money we are throwing at this problem and the amount of damage it has done to the Constitution make it impossible for me to support the WOD.
