Please note that the article deals with "birth rate". How many of the pregnancies in that age group also end in abortion these days? And what was the rate like before 1946, the first year after WW2 that kicked off the baby boom, and was that year simply a spike or part of a trend?

Today, 1 in 3 pregnancies ends in abortion.
