Ive seen "steers" try to mount horses before. It doesn't mean the steer has some kind of horse fetish, it just means the steer is acting on one of it's most basic instincts.

We have four male dogs in the yard (2 of which are neutered) and they ALL hump the crap out of each other (except for the mastiff who is too big) But you put a female IN HEAT in there and see the difference. Have a longhorn heifer that I bottle raised and she tried to hump me. Hubby came to my rescue. LOLL
