I remain convinced this is a manufactured scandal. What I don't know is whether Gannon has been tarred unfairly, or if he deliberately placed himself into the White House with a ready-made "history" so that Brock could start the scandal mill running.

I am starting to consider your second possibility.

Is it coincidence or not that Gannon signed up here in June 2003 right as the Wilson yellowcake ball was starting to roll (Wilson has admitted he was the anonymous source for stories in June about the story before the July 6 publication of his piece in the NY Times where he revealed himself as calling the President a liar). And I have to wonder why Wilson agreed to a lengthy interview with him.

On the one hand, the timing could be coincidence. As to the interview, perhaps the fact that Gannon asked for it was enough for egomaniacal Wilson to grant the request.

I'll keep an open mind.

I am leaning toward the second possibility, currently. One reason is that Gannon has never shown up on the forum again. Also, the investigation seems to be ongoing, and I am begining to think the liberal blogs KNOW what the next revelation will be. Notice how this stuff is dripping out in regular intervals?

I am keeping an open mind. Lots of smoke and mirrors in this situation, that's for sure.
