Assemblyman Sean Kean Endorses John Murphy for Governor

Assemblyman from Monmouth County Joins the Murphy Team

PARSIPPANY, NJ – Monmouth County Assemblyman Sean T. Kean (R-11) today endorsed John Murphy for Governor.

Assemblyman Kean, the Assistant Republican Whip stated, “Right now, New Jersey Republicans are looking for a young, energetic candidate with a clear message who can lead our entire Republican ticket this year. In order to defeat a man like Jon Corzine in November, we need a new exciting candidate who is willing to out-work the Democrats. John Murphy is my choice.”

“It’s an honor to have the support of Assemblyman Kean and the support that his endorsement brings with it. Monmouth County is a huge Republican base and district 11 will prove to be a key battleground area. I look forward to working closely with Sean in Monmouth as we continue to pick up support throughout the state,” said John Murphy.

Murphy Campaign Manager Rich De Angelis stated, “For an incumbent Assemblyman, in a district that will be targeted by the Democrats, to sign on with John this early is a strong indicator of John’s strength and the value he brings to the entire Republican ticket throughout the state. John Murphy is the candidate Republican candidates statewide are lining up behind, not because of promises of campaign cash, but because they believe John Murphy can win in the fall.”

I take it Murph's your guy? How's he doing up in Bergen Co.? Not too many Bergen endorsements . . . it being the home turf of Fat Bob Schroeder, Loser Lonegan, Caliguire, and Pauly Walnuts.
