The Democrats are the party of diversity and tolerance.

I smell a "larger conspiracy" and these 5 did "not act alone".. we need a new investigation to hunt down those responsible.

I'm surprised the prosecutor is seeking felony convictions. Good for him.

It is 5 Democrat activists, not Democratic. They are anything but Democratic.

I love it.
Payback's a witch, isn't it? And justice apparently can be blind.

Where are the feds on this? A blatant effort to keep citizens from exercising their right to vote.

Someone on National Review defined 'Democratic activist' as: "a damn troublemaker". Believe he may be our Webster.

They are part of the wider Wisconsin voter fraud case that has found nearly enough false or incorrect ballots to turn Wisconsin red. I heard on Quinn's show (www.warroom.com) that an on going investigation has uncovered voter fraud to the tune of 13,000 votes in Wisconsin. Kerry won by slightly more that 16,000 votes.

"Democratic Activists"? The AP spin police in action.
They are Democrat Party MEMBERS.
There was NOTHING democratic about what they did.
As for the use of the word "activist", that is just AP spin to somehow make them look like freedom fighters agains the eeeeeeeeevil republicans.

Do they have an explanation for these "activists" turning on each other?

Great news. Low level operatives of The Democratic Crime Syndicate.

This is excellent news. They should get the max because it will corrupts our political system if they get a slap on the wrist.
including the sons of Wisconsin Congresswoman Gwen Moore and former Acting Mayor Marvin Pratt
These two people should know better, obviously they the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
They see political corruption on a daily basis and think they can get away with anything.
Both should be made to stand on the street corner for a couple of years every weekend with sandwich boards telling painted with a "I Love G. W. Bush" on both sides.

Defense attorneys suggested Simmons and Stoney were also part of a plan called Operation Elephant Takeover, formulated by Democratic campaign workers to harass Republicans by plastering the GOP office and property with Kerry-Edwards signs and bumper stickers in the hours before the polls opened for Election Day. Prosecutors contend the five defendants came up with the tire-slashing plan after Operation Elephant Takeover was dropped because a security guard was posted a the Republican office.
Unbelievable.....if this had been any rogue Republicans the MSM would be all over it. Dan Rather would have come out of enforced early retirement just for this. Even in Watergate, a completely failed wire-tapping of the wrong phone even, none of the Cubans sliced tires to stop people from voting.

I wonder what Stephanie Tubbs-Jones and Jesse Jackson would do if it turned out that the real story was that the democrats , not the republicans were into stealing elections.
Who am I kidding, they'll denounce everything and continue to whine and cry about Ohio.
