My bet is that none other than Rather himself drove the CBS bus off the cliff. Despite being a typical America-hating socialist, he loathes the military, he despises the Republicans, and he has seething, blinding hatred for the Bush's. He went over the edge in 2004, probably grappling with that great white whale in his twisted mind every night.
