I disagree. It is only a racist comment for those that play the Democrats game of pretending the world is something that it isn't. The reality is that black people are poorer than whites and do have lower paying, less skilled jobs.
It is also the reality that as long as the black community continues to believe that the Democrats policies do anything other than trap people into a lifetime of poverty that things will never change.
Okay -- you have a point about blacks being in some of the lower waged and less skilled jobs more that whites, but prolly not more that hispanics. I don't know and that really isn't the point that I was trying to make---
I am sorry if I offended you or anyone---the point I was trying to make was that Dean was showing his racist "thinking" by assuming that the "help" was black---
I gotta tell you, when I travel I see just as many white men and women working in the service industry--and do you know what?
I wouldn't hesitate to do that work if I had to support myself and/or my family---
I just think that Dean was not only showing himself to be racist but elitist also---and yet it is he and his party that continue to paint the Republicans as caring only for the rich--
