In a magazine article today I read that Helen Thomas, the WH reporter, was used to sitting in the front row and as kind of a tradition got to ask the first question at press conferences; now she's relegated to the back of the room and rarely gets to ask questions. There was a photo of her; what a bitter-looking lady. But then, you could tellshe was bitter and combative months and months ago.I was surprised she was still working there since we never see her.
Maybe she got tired of the Pres. not backing down and not being bullied by her.
