Without the underground marijuana economy, California's North Coast would resemble Appalachia. Instead, even burned-out ex-hippies are able to own million dollar homes with ocean views. Ain't capitalism wonderful? ;)

Methinks the growers are getting just a bit ahead of themselves. It is still illegal at the federal level, and the USSC is scheduled to hear the case this summer.
