I wouldn't say that either Hannity or Rush lies. They have been mistaken from time to time. It is also true that when they talk about taxes, they generally refer to personal income taxes.

When they say a lie a hundred times in 3 hours and only correct the lie once in 3 hours IT IS A LIE. Most do not listen all 3 hours and miss the one time it is said correctly.

There are other situations in which conservative spokespersons "lie" is a similar matter in that they make unqualified statements and expect the listener to be a mind reader and understand the qualifications in the speaker's mind.

My point is that apart from the morality, it backfires on these spokespersons. They would be more effective four our cause if they did not "lie".
