The FBI said Irvin and six other men attended a conference of the North American Man-Boy Love Association and allegedly made travel arrangements through an undercover agent who posed as someone who could arrange a trip featuring "bed, boys and breakfast."

The FBI said Irvin was arrested as he boarded a small boat for the trip on Saturday.

Pittsburgh Schools authorities say Irvin has received half pay since he went on a study sabbatical on Feb. 2.
