the 'joke' isn't about her - it's about all the tinfoil people who lump in every death of anybody remotely related with chemistry / biology as part of some sinister plot by some unknown forces.
If these chemist and biologist were dying of natural causes and people were all up in arms and spouting unnatural theories for these deaths, then the tinfoil joke would be cute. It is the very large number of unnatural deaths occurring in this community that make it interesting to some and send up the red flags. One of these guys died from murder ok, but this many in such a small space of time??? Of course people with any natural curiosity will wonder.
