I was living inland. I doubt my parents would have tolerated a place like Seattle, but that was around 1950 when they settled there.Was it Spokane?
And Louisiana was nice in it's own way. And in others, it wasn't.

And Louisiana was nice in it's own way. And in others, it wasn't. Spent 11yrs there. I always said they needed to put a big fence around it, charge admission to get in and nothing to get out.
It would be a hell of a tax base.
