Yes you are correct SS cards are sold. But they are all phonies and are not suitable for anything except scamming a prospective employer. Or more accurately, putting the fear of a lawsuit into him if he refuses employment.

That's why 'most' illegals who do work, don't have a DL. The phony SS card they bought would be spotted in a NY minute by the DMV (or Sec of State like in IL).
