It seems as if when an election comes, the dims go into an area and race bait and demagogue.
The day after the election, they are gone. All talk and no action.
I've often wondered how the MSM got away with making George Wallace, Bull Conner, Lester Maddox, et al into Republicans. But even the sick, twisted, alphebet media couldn't put a positive spin on Old "Sheets" Byrd beating up on that little black lady from Birmingham last month. It's great to see the mask coming off.
The democrats aren't done yet. They are, in my opinion, sowing the seeds of the NEW Civil Rights movement. This movement is based on the ideology of the minority. In this new Civil Rights movement, the most discriminated minority would be those who are liberals first and minorities second.
This new minority is the minority that is scared away from polls by the republican "scarecrows" (policemen) stationed on the route to the polls. This minority is "disenfranchised" from the governmental processes of this country and can't be represented by any other means then self appointed spokesmen (Jesse Jackson et. al.). This minority (according to the Dems) is so ignorant that they can't figure out how to operate voting machines.
The easiest way to lift one's self out of this new minority is to become conservative. As your article points out, this will cause one to leave the ranks of this new minority and enter a life based on merit and opportunity. That is a pretty short trip!
Come on down th TN, for the next 18 months all we are going to hear is how we will be racist if we do not vote for Harold Ford Jr for Senator.
Trouble on the political slave plantation? Once minorities realize what a disservice you Democrats have done for them the Democratic Party, as we know it is through. Eventually I am going to turn my head away, I do not know if I can stand to watch the gruesome death throws of the old Dinosaurs fighting for that last breath.
Funny how the MSM has, to this day, never mentioned Algore's blatant lie about his father losing his seat for supporting the Civil Rights Act when he was one of the leading segregationists in the Senate who voted against it.

I got this email today concerning this column that compliments this issue. It's a nice change from the usual hate email I get.

The liberal media spent years running around the country blaming "whites" and often "white men" for all the problems faced by African Americans. When they went after an individual "racist" it was always a Christian or a Republican innocent of racism but unable to disprove the Left's charges of racsim. They used this racial scapegoating to bond African Americans into a voting block of racial hate and fear. Ultimately the purpose of the whole race baiting scheme was to win power for "social justice" which is liberal-speak for socialism's redistribution of wealth and centralized control over culture, property and industry. Equality was measured by equal wealth in outcome. Disagreeing with any centeralized power proposal or liberal social myth was translated into charges of racism.
The Left used the old media to run their witch hunts against political opponents. They refused to run opposition voices to the Left's socialism via race hate agenda. I remember early in the internet days when blacks heard whites talk back to these race baiters for the first time. We talked about equality in merit versus the socialist ideal of equality in outcome forced by centralized government. We talked openly about crime and the myth of rehabilitation. We spoke freely about inner city welfare reservations of handouts versus independence and freedom. LIghts were going off...understanding was flooding in and the Left eventually paid for their hatred and smears. On the internet it was not racist to talk outside the political demands and social slogans of the Left's old media.
As the old media cries about bloggers being after them they should remember their decades of smears and hate games they ran against white people and men in general, and their political opponents personnally. Many white men were denied promotions and advancement in life because of leftist race baiting. The sexual witch hunts the Left ran against Republican/non-socialist men are not forgotten either and this hate game affected everyone in their lives made fearful of flirting with false charges of sexual harassment. Liberals are race and sex bullies and are perceived by many as the white racists of segregation were viewed. Now bloggers have the power to go after the lies and smears of the Left's messangers...the old media.
