I'm guessing it's not because "she is gay" but because they believe her homosexual behavior is unacceptable.
I am with you!
Isn't that the truth. Somebody ought to ask them that.
I would think that it would be very difficult to come to terms with, but one loves ones children no matter what. After all, God loves us unconditionally. Can we do no less?
It all goes back to teaching children right from wrong BEFORE AGE 10. After that, the foundation will be attacked.

This is so true. After 10 I dont know what to do with them LOL
It wouldn't surprise me if she did. Would it surprise you?
We do not "love unconditionally" by encouraging or enabling the loved one to make foolish, destructive decisions.
Nope. We sit down and have a talk with our children and tell them what is right and what is wrong. As does God. But we never stop loving them.
He who troubleth his own house inherits the wind.
No, just a queer anarchist

Sometimes talking (warning) doesn't get the job done. There is such a thing a "tough love" and what it really means is allowing a child (particularly an adult child) to experience the full consequences of a painful decision without interfering, excusing, or minimizing it. The child may think the parent "hates" them for not stepping in, but that's because the child still hasn't crossed the threshhold into accepting full responsibility for their own actions.
Watch over them as a warrior....be prepared to do real, sustained battle with the forces of darkness in high places.
Those aren't just school board members or politicians....many are minions of the dark lord.
Same here. :-)
You need to learn what love is.
A beautiful prayer and example. God bless you!
The left started with "seminar callers" to get their message on talk radio.
The left now has "seminar posters".
Probably has to do with that little thinktank Pineta is running.
I have a daughter, and I love her and her mother more than I ever thought possible. And I can't think of a single thing she could do that would make me turn her out of my house, cut off all communications with her, and literally divorce her from my family and my life. Certainly nothing as trivial as what Keyes has thrown his daughter out over.
:-)James 1:12 (New International Version)
12Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
I don't know if you're a Christian. This is not a trivial issue for us.
