"It shouldn't be a philosophy about morals." Amazingly, Hagel has one of the stronger records on abortion and is hardened pro-life.
Even more bizare, check out his ACU and ADA ratings.
He votes conservative, and talks liberal, where I come from, that makes him untrustworthy and an oppurtunist.

He is a media hog Senator...and THAT I do not like. When have you seen him support the President about anything? He gets on the shows and gets quoted because he criticizes the President...not because of his service as a Marine.

Hagel is a Bilderberger which is not bad in itself; but I have a huge problem with his being an multilateralist/internationalist/one worlder/ UN lover. The Bilderbergers are basically a bunch of John Kerry loving, Euro loving, one-worlder, UN loving bankers with David Rockefeller as their guru and leader.
Scratch him off your presidential list immediately.

Yes, just like his fellow "maverick" republican McCain, the media loves him because he's all-too-eager to bash his own in exchange for face time. But on the chance that he (or McCain) ever got the nomination, how many here would like to bet that his media "friends" suddenly wouldn't be so fawning?
