A FReeper should have been there with a goat on a leash seeking a marriage license.
MIDI - NEVER MY LOVE (scroll down to Oldies section)
You ask me if a liberal judge will stop me loving you
Never my goat...never my goat
You ask me if I'll have to hide the things that I do to you
Never my goat...never my goat
When I watch you munching grass, I see your little ______ (fill in the blank)
And I lose...control...control
You ask me if the San Fran mayor will tell us we can't be wed
Never my goat...never my goat
You ask me if John Kerry will keep you out of my bed
Never my goat...never my goat
When I watch you munching grass, I see your little ______ (fill in the blank)
And I lose...control...control, control
Never my goat...never my goat
Never my goat...never my goat
Never my goat...never my goat

McShane and D'Amario were the first couple to get married publicly at City Hall in San Francisco last year, when D'Amario was pregnant. Now the proud mothers of twins, they still consider Feb. 12 to be their wedding anniversary even though California Supreme Court ultimately voided their marriage. The actual title is: 3,000 JAM City Hall to celebrate anniversaries and S.F.'s mayor. Either one works though. ;-)

Reminds me of a sign I saw outside a church in Pasadena, CA this morning - a rainbow sign with the words "We support Marriage for All" in big letters. At least they're making it obvious what type church it is!

"I care what happens to you and to this country." If you care what happens to this country, you ought to care about the unit that gives cohesion to a well-ordered society.
"Don't believe these folks who talk about tradition. They sit there and defend inequality because it's tradition," he went on. "Tradition doesn't make something right."
Pesky traditions, ah yes... 2+2=4... the clear sky is blue, not orange... As natural as the blue sky, a man and woman get married and produce children, as each of us was at one time including YOU, Mr. Newsome, and all of your misguided followers.
"Don't give up this fight. Don't feel discouraged. Don't listen to the president of the United States,"
Where will this lead?
