Graffiti war erupts into gang violence (dramatic increase in gang graffiti tied to Mexican Mafia)

ORLAND (CA) Police here did what they could to keep a graffiti war between rival gangs from escalating to violence, but on Wednesday it did.

---

about 20 alleged Sureo gang members showed up outside a home in the 1100 block of Bonnie Lane, where six members of a rival Norteo gang were thought to be hiding. The larger group attempted to break in to the residence. The rival gang came outside to stop them and a fight began.

---

Orland Police Chief Bob Pasero said a recent dramatic increase in gang-style graffiti around Orland pointed to the likelihood of violence.

He said officers had counseled suspected gang members in an attempt to keep a lid on the growing problem.

Nearly three-dozen reports of gang-style graffiti taggings have been reported since late January in locations all over the city.

Pasero said Sureos have been the dominant gang faction in Orland for some time, but are now being challenged by a handful of Norteos.

Wednesday's incidents are under investigation.

The majority of Hispanic-based gangs in California are identified as either Norteo or Sureo. If they wind up going to prison, the designations determine which gangs the members may join behind bars.

According to Web sites maintained by the rival gangs, Sureos typically join the Mexican Mafia, while Norteos gravitate to the Nuestra Familia.

In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicides which total 1,500 target illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all felony warrants at 17,000 last year were for illegal aliens. A California Department of Justice study reported that the gang collaborates with the ------Mexican Mafia------- on complex drug distribution, extortion, drive by assassinations, and commits an assault or robbery every day in LA County.

Beware of la "Eme".... they don't take sh#t from anybody. They also have the # "13". marked or inked on their body.

Blood in

Blood out

that's the code.... you got to treat them like roaches and kill all of them or they will infest your neighborhood and area.

If you think I'm joking ask the guys that tried to get the "Black Tar Heroin" from them in West Texas... the Crips got whacked.... bad.

The funny thing about it all is that it's like watching Saddam Hussein and Bin Laden cut each other to pieces .... or two Lawyers fighting..... you just don't know who to cheer for and you kinda hope they both kill each other.

Excellent article, thanks. "In 1965, our 'Captain' Lyndon B. Johnson along with helmsman Senator Teddy Kennedy drove America into an 'iceberg' of massive, unrestricted immigration that opened up the flood gates with the 'Immigration Reform Act'.

Hmmm, nuff said?

We all know gangs use graffiti to mark THEIR turf.

Note: MS-13 uses graffiti also. I don’t have pics avail., if anyone has these available, it would be a public service to post graffiti that is characteristic of MS-13.

This gang uses machetes as part of their M.O. has they have zero problems with home invasions FYI.

Note2: AQ and OBL are “reaching out” to gangs… Nice little underground army and conduits for transporting men, materiel, drugs and cash, eh?

We can not underestimate the threat presented by some of the gangs, particularly if some have been targeted by an AQ recruitment campaign. UGGG

1) Comment: looks like it was painted on a private residence, which is disturbing;

2) Is this from MS-13 (La Mara Salvatrucha)? If so, do you have any more pictures you can send along?

Only problem with sittin' back and watchin' 'em kill each other is.....there's more to fill in the ranks (rank) every day.

On the positive side, however, that terrorist mouthpiece in NY was convicted of assisting terrorists. For some reason her "secrets" may make her a target in the hoosgow.

Just keep locking them up... right off the bat.. constant police vigilance, no mercy, continuous court appearances, very strict adherence to probation and gun violations with minimum mandatory sentences to prevent liberal judges from stabbing the police in the back.

people learn that if you do a crime and are made to pay heavy consequences, then behavior gets altered and they move to more accommodating areas..... like Cali...that is the only way they can be dealt with. If you try to "relate" to gangs or "understand" them, you're playing into the fact that they'll continue to operate.

They are a criminal organization and will just as soon kill you as put up with anybody stopping them from making money without working... it's easier to steal than to show up at a job and put in a decent days work.... look at the gangs up in Chicago land.... where the Rev. Jesse has enforcers working on Democratic Party elections..

ounseled suspected gang members in an attempt to keep a lid on the growing problem.

Counseling aint the answer. Lets try the "bust some heads" approach. The only way to root out a gang is to be a meaner and tougher gang. If we'd just back the cops and close our eyes to some really ugly deeds for a while the thing could be cleaned up.
