Sometimes Dagen looks very pretty, but she goes way too far with the hick accent, and I'm from Texas! Intelligent, Educated people know how to talk normally, and how to talk in their local "patois", if you will. She needs to talk right when she's on national television or she'll just become a joke.
I had a long talk on an airline flight with a gorgeous female DJ from Boston about this. She said it was hard, but she learned to talk straight when she needed or wanted to but she could revert to the Boston lingo too, usually when she'd had a drink or two.
