The mayor's voice at least sounded like he had a little bit of adrenaline running through his system! The girl on the phone didn't sound right to me somehow, that's why I got skeptical when the next guy on the phone had the same name as a fictional TV cop!

Good book. I told Hubby that this was going to happen sooner or later. Just too rich a target environment. Just look at the DC Sniper thing! It concerns me though, Clancy seems to come up with ideas that happen, writing them a few years before the incident comes to life for real. Spooky.

Police respond to mall shooting in Kingston

KINGSTON, N.Y. (AP) _ At least two gunmen fired shots inside a mall Sunday, authorities said.
Police said the gunmen entered the Hudson Valley Mall and started shooting. One gunman was taken into police custody.
The mall was in lockdown and several helicopters and police teams surrounded the area.
"We're a relatively peaceful community," Kingston Mayor James Sottile told Fox News.
Kingston is 52 miles south of Albany.
